Part of Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival

The Big Bike Revival in Newcastle

Free cycling sessions to help adults who haven’t cycled for a while get back on a bike, in a friendly, local group.

Our 2026 sessions finished on 31 October. Thank you to everyone who came along. Want to keep riding? Bike and Banter runs every weekend, with bikes and helmets provided.

What the Big Bike Revival is

We deliver free cycling sessions as part of Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival. The sessions are for adults who aren’t cycling at the moment, or ride less than once a month, and want to get back on a bike in a supportive, friendly and local setting.

Community Cycling Group delivered by Mind Matters NE
